SalahGuard Privacy Policy
SalahGuard is a prayer reminder and prayer tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may use and how it is handled.
Information SalahGuard Uses
- Location: SalahGuard may use your location to calculate prayer times for your city or region.
- Notifications: SalahGuard may schedule local notifications to remind you about prayer times.
- Family Controls / Screen Time: If you enable the premium app blocking feature on iOS, SalahGuard may request Apple's Family Controls permission so you can select apps or categories to block during prayer periods.
- Local app data: Prayer settings, selected prayers, streaks, preferences, and related app data may be stored locally on your device.
- Purchase status: SalahGuard uses RevenueCat to manage Premium subscription status and restore purchases. Payment details are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by SalahGuard.
Advertising and Tracking
SalahGuard does not sell your data. SalahGuard does not include advertising tracking and does not use cookies on these legal pages.
Accounts and Backend Services
SalahGuard does not require a user account for the current release. The app is designed as an offline-first app using local device storage for prayer preferences, history, streaks, and settings.
Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play. SalahGuard uses subscription status only to unlock Premium features such as advanced app blocking, advanced stats, and Premium content. SalahGuard does not collect or store full payment card details.
Family Controls Data
Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks are controlled by iOS. SalahGuard uses these permissions only to support app blocking features chosen by the user. Availability and behavior may depend on iOS version, Apple permissions, and device settings.
Data Deletion
Because SalahGuard does not require an account in the current release, local app data can generally be removed by deleting the app from your device. You may also manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
